International Graduate Programme

At Berenberg, we believe that talented employees are essential to our success. That is why we are proud to have earned a reputation over the years of offering a high-quality and challenging training programme for university graduates. Not only do our graduates accumulate extensive practical experience during the programme, they also develop their skills through individual training, benefit from international opportunities and have a lot of fun!

Your classroom-based induction has been expertly designed to provide you with the skill set required to succeed.

Alongside extensive training to get you up to speed with Excel, financial modelling and accountancy, you’ll also learn about stock pitching and presentation techniques.

There will be introductory sessions with each business head and plenty of opportunity to get to know your peers on the programme and wider colleagues.

Once you have completed the induction, you will spend the rest of the programme rotating through the Bank.

During this time, you will gain experience across the key business areas, with the opportunity to spend time in at least one of our international offices.

By choosing your preferred rotations, each programme can be tailored to push your career in the right direction.

Senior people will actively guide you throughout your rotations; this ensures that alongside making a contribution to our business, you are also supported to determine which business area is right for your permanent position and long-term success at Berenberg.
