The 6 week classroom-based induction has been designed with your future success in mind. The Global Graduate Induction is run out of London, and is a great chance to meet all the other grads from our worldwide offices and various other schemes.
You’ll be given a general introduction to banking as an industry, but the main focus for you will be on a range of tech-focused courses which will train you in everything from extensive python skills, machine learning, full stack development, project management, and a variety of other courses. We’ll assess your ability before you join to make sure the programme is at the right level to give you the best start possible!
There’ll also be a bunch of presentations from senior management across the business, and various networking sessions, presentation skills workshops and social events for you to take part in. For the final week, you’ll all go spend a week in our Hamburg HQ to meet more of the wider team.
After the induction time, you will be ready to hit the ground running. You will try your hand at various tech roles such as a Tech Consultant, Software Developer or Business Analyst, giving you the opportunity to see where your talent lies.
After gaining valuable experience during various rotations, you will then enter the Innovation Phase.
As a team you will use your creativity and problem solving skills to tackle some of the most innovative and complex tech projects within the bank, working side-by-side with your innovation mentors to develop new software, infrastructure and technologies that will have a real impact on Berenberg’s future success.

Successful candidates will participate in a telephone interview with a member of the Global Technology Team to discuss your application in more detail.
The final stage of the process will be an assessment centre in London where you will be interviewed by senior members of the Global Technology Team and undertake a variety of assessments.
We open applications in March 2021 for an October 2021 start date. CV’s are reviewed from March until June.
The Global Technology Graduate Programme is a 15-month programme; consisting of a 6-week induction and rotational placements throughout the business. At the end of the programme you join a team on a full time basis.
