Capital Market Analyst Programme

We believe that talented employees play a key role in our success. That is why we are proud to have earned a reputation of offering a high-quality and challenging program for college undergraduates. Our Analysts accumulate extensive practical experience during the program, develop their skills through individual training, benefit from global opportunities and make a difference.

Thank you for expressing an interest in the Capital Markets Analyst Programme 2020, unfortunately applications are now closed. If you wish to apply for the Capital Markets Analyst Programme 2021, applications will re-open in September 2020.

The programme consists of rotations and on-the-job training across our core business areas across London and the United States such as Equity Sales, Equity Research, Sales Trading & Equity Capital Markets.

You will begin your career with us by choosing a series of initial rotations in our New York office. After the first few months you will then go to our London branch where you’ll participate in a 6-week structured, classroom-based training course. You will sharpen your technical skills; learn valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and be introduced to senior leaders across the business.  You will then undertake further rotations in London and be given the opportunity to attend our flagship European Conference, before returning to our New York office to complete the 12-month Capital Markets Analyst Programme.

Our full-time programme is specifically designed to allow you to gain significant business exposure, hands-on relevant experience as well as plenty of networking and mentorship opportunities, before you decide which team you want to join on a permanent basis.

Your classroom-based training course in the London branch has been expertly designed to provide you with the skill set required to succeed.

Alongside extensive training to get you up to speed with Excel, financial modelling and accountancy, you’ll also learn about stock pitch and presentation techniques.

There will be introductory sessions with each business leader and plenty of opportunity to get to know both your peers on the program and your wider colleagues.

At Berenberg Capital Markets LLC, we continually invest in our people.

Upon completion of the Capital Markets Analyst Program, you will be able to access additional resources designed to continually enhance your skills in your chosen career path.
